Thank you, Rainey, I have to remember that next fall when it's time to plant spring bulbs. We've let it slip two autumns here and it's only when spring comes that I realize how very much I miss a spring garden. I've begun looking at the garden outside the kitchen window to plan where to plant bulbs next fall. God willing, I must remember!
I imagine you really miss your garden because for sure I miss mine - that i had in the house I sold several years ago. Living in the mountains Iwouldn't know what to plant and all I do is plant pots because this is just a rental. pretty photos.
Such a sweet and pretty place, indeed! Valley View's special welcome for Spring with bright and cheery daffodils and Otis and Milo scurrying about the greenery and overturned pots, well, it has the makings of a greeting card!
Home Hill, will, I'm certain, be just as delightful, with Bree-Bree and James Mason exploring all the prettiness blooming in their garden.
Thank you, Poppy! It was a magical garden, still is under Court's care, and we really must focus on bringing in more spring blooming plants here. Last year was mainly just getting the garden laid out with paths and a terrace and there's still the larger terrace to finish this year. But spring bulbs are at the top of my list for next year!
BreeBree and James Mason do love their garden! Especially digging for moles!
you can just feel the moist freshness of Spring in these pictures! and I love the polka dot lampshade too! Spring has become a very dear season to me. and it will be fun to see how Home Hill becomes magical too . . . just like Valley View!
Tam, that polka dot lampshade and the Italian lamp it sits on is now in my bedroom, still a favorite and one I looked for for months.
I still love looking at pictures from our years at Valley View. It will always be special to me! And our home now is too. I'm one of those lucky people who fell in love with two houses!
It was a beautiful garden and you will have another one there at your new home.
