Let Freedom Ring!

My country 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrim's pride,

From ev'ry mountainside,
Let freedom ring!

Happy Fourth of July!

  8. Dewena, great photos for a great song. I was glad to learn that Connie and little Rachel are doing well. Having gone down that same road so recently, I think of your friend and baby often. I'm sure they will face some rough times, but I'm praying for strength of the parents and Rachel and that Rachel will be as healthy as our little grandson (who now weighs over 11 lbs.!) laurie

  11. Hi Dewena,

    What a lovely post! I find family photos so interesting - who do the kids look like, seeing their personalities shine through the lens, posing for the camera, and of course, seeing them all grown up! Time flies, and our kids fly the coop! Funny, this afternoon, I was looking for a photo to use on the blog, and one thing led to another and before long, I found myself sitting in piles and piles of pictures, sighing, crying, smiling and finally, trying - to just LIVE in the MOMENT and appreciate the past for what it was.

    Thanks for sharing these sweet memories of your family fun and hope you had a happy 4th!
