I love you, Mama!
Note to self:
Self, Veronique Vienne, in her beautiful little book, The Art of Growing Up, says that growing older "is an opportunity to shed youthful insecurities, revaluate old habits, and get rid of obsolete constraints." Isn't that sentence worth a little study? I think I'll find a few quiet hours soon to ponder upon it.
Happy B-day!!

ReplyDeleteOur daughter was born on the Friday before Mother's Day, and we brought her home on Mother's Day. It's a lovely time of year to celebrate a birthday.
A very happy birthday to you. When I sometimes hear girls complaining about having another birthday I always remember what my gracious southern aunt in her eighties used to tell me. "Why I'll take all the birthdays I can get. ". Enjoy your special day.
