And like polenta, grits depend on other things to flavor it, especially butter.

And yes, the foxes have been banished! That is until the next time they sneak up on me.

A wonderful week to you to--one with no winds blowing sand from North Africa to your home above the olive groves!Dewenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330797553600987145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7334613666852273616.post-29639534725945129182018-04-12T09:02:47.590-07:002018-04-12T09:02:47.590-07:00Tam, I admit to loving those curtains too. Actuall...Tam, I admit to loving those curtains too. Actually, they fill me with joy daily, just seeing them. Thank you Goodwill, and thank you to the Great Decorator above who loves to see his children enjoying red curtains and Barney Fife and the mellow voice of Herbert Marshall. And the friendship of a good friend from where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain.Dewenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07330797553600987145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7334613666852273616.post-60003809310931080302018-04-09T11:14:29.054-07:002018-04-09T11:14:29.054-07:00I'm trying to imagine what grits tasteS like, ...I'm trying to imagine what grits tasteS like, and I'm sensing something similar to a scrumptious creamed corn dish, especially with that melted butter, in the middle, yummy! Am I close?

In any case, your table setting, so cozy and inviting, is beautiful, framed by those gorgeous red and white curtains and glowing from that pretty lamp, a vignette straight out of Country Living magazine!

BUT, I know exactly what you mean about those nasty, little foxes that have a tendency to trample on our spontaneous ventures, making a mess only in our MINDS, and nowhere else, and certainly NOT on that appetizing array of gourmet goodness, isn't that right?

Your hubby's light hearted laughter in response to your dissatisfaction with the photo shoot, was spot on and seems to have impressed you, as I'm sure you forgot about the 'faulty' food styling with the first bite of that delicious 'egg stuff'.

I bet those foxes are far away, right now, and the only way you could see them would be through those binoculars!

Wishing you a wonderful week,

xoxo
PoppyPoppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08980323586402386609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7334613666852273616.post-47895862187349281532018-04-08T19:50:29.411-07:002018-04-08T19:50:29.411-07:00OMG!!!
